We are looking for a PROFESSIONAL SERVICES PROJECT MANAGER - contractor to join our Professional Services team - remote location.
Can be located in any city with a major airport in Central or West regions.

What You'll Do
Own and manage small to medium sized projects to ensure that they stay on-course, schedule is followed, and budget is met.
Operate within budget for all project and ensure all parties involved are adhering to financial limits or have clear communication and documentation of any budgetary impacting change efforts
Start up, run and manage multiple software projects through to successful delivery and project close
Plan effectively to deliver tasks to time and budget
Provide reporting to the business of the status of each project
Manage and maintain standard project documentation to enable accurate and up to date reporting and timely visibility of risk or escalation
Ensure accurate time recording is completed by resources allocated to projects to enable accurate billing and reporting
Provide a high level of customer service and relationship management, through adoption of the Cherwell values
Attends or conducts weekly project status meetings
Updates schedules / forecasts; manages costs
Problem-solving may be necessary when projects are not going as planned, be strategic and holistic in approach to satisfying a customer and meeting the company’s business objectives.
Work in a fast paced and frequently changing industry and keep up with responsibilities
Typically work in remote office, but may occasionally visit customer sites
This is not a Senior level position
What You Should Have
3+ years experience in full-cycle software project management
2 years of project budget / finance / analysis
2+ years as a project manager / coordinator in CRM software
1+ years in Waterfall environment
Expertise in handling all aspects of small to medium software projects
Must be able to manage to cost, schedule and performance
Knowledge of best practices in project management; PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) or PRINCE2
Able to manage high volume in a fast-paced, dynamic technical environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a variety of audiences from technical to senior managers
Stellar organizational and time management skills
Top notch Microsoft Office skills
Willing and able to travel up to 20% to customer sites
Nice to Have
Cherwell or other ITSM product knowledge
Agile / Scrum certification and / or experience
PMP or PRINCE2 certification
2+ years experience in software implementations
Familiarity with ITIL processes
