Missions :

  • Ensures the administrative management of a structure from very small to small;
  • Negotiates and maintains varied contacts with external contacts;
  • Ensures the financial and accounting management of the Sub-delegation;
  • Ensures logistics management (Purchase, stocks, fleet, etc.);
  • Is in charge of buildings and welcome according to ICRC rules;
  • Manages the administrative team (housekeepers and drivers);
  • Ensures the follow-up of HR problems;
  • Ensures compliance with ICRC procedures by the various departments;
  • May perform other unit-related responsibilities upon request.
  • University education with specialization in administration preferred bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus specialization in accounting;
  • 4-5 years of experience working in a similar position;
  • Fluent in written and oral English and good knowledge of written and spoken French;
  • Good knowledge of computer tools (spreadsheets, word processing and ICRC programs);
  • Sense of organization, rigour and method;
  • Ability to work independently and manage a team;
  • Availability and flexibility;
  • Minimum 4 to 5 years' work experience in a similar field;
  • Experience in working with humanitarian organizations;
  • Sound knowledge of financial systems and accounting principles;
  • Knowledge of simple logistics procedures;
  • Sound knowledge of the political, social and media environment in the country / region covered.
