CCIS (CMA CGM Inland Services) is a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, dedicated to the development of land transport solutions.

It offers complete and integrated logistics solutions with high added value, adapted to the specific needs of its customers throughout their supply chain : storage, picking, kitting, processing of packaged goods, post-manufacturing and loading and unloading.

MISSION

Under the responsibility of the CCIS Management at headquarters and with the support of the CMA CGM General Manager, your main mission is to manage and develop the activities of the 3CTC Logistics Platform in Douala, Cameroon.

Locally, you defend the Group's interests and guarantee its image with local institutions and administrations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the logistics platform of 3 CTCs and develop its activities

  • Manage 3CTC's activities (company management, legal, HR, financial, operational)
  • Establish and maintain a good relationship with the main actors and stakeholders in our activities : Management team of the CMA CGM Agency and CCIS Headquarters in Marseille (Headquarters) Key customers and suppliers External stakeholders (Customs Directorate, Port Authorities, Douala Terminal Directorate, etc.)
  • Understand the environment and port and customs procedures for managing the flow of goods in transit between border countries and the port of Douala
  • Implement and develop the tools necessary for the safe management of our activities (operating, invoicing and accounting system, operational procedures, control) while guaranteeing an excellent level of service and visibility to our customers
  • Raise the Group's Logistics Platform, activities and equipment to HSE standards, in close collaboration with the HSE department at Headquarters
  • Ensure proper administrative order; contracts with carriers and credit term agreement with credit customers
  • Ensure the maintenance of handling equipment
  • Understand the political and economic environment of the country and region, identify opportunities and perspectives for development in the country and region
  • Ensure the training and development of the skills of our local teams
  • Ensure the commercial development of the platform according to the objectives set in the Budget
  • Ensure the sound operational and financial management of the platform and develop concrete performance indicators for the teams lead these teams and measure these indicators regularly.
  • Ensure the proper application by the teams of the procedures and rules determined by Headquarters
  • Prepare and implement the Annual Budget, once validated by Headquarters
  • Prepare and distribute monthly activity and performance reports at Headquarters
  • Manage extension and development projects, in close collaboration with the Headquarters Project Team :

  • Prepare a Business Plan for expansion and development projects in the targeted field, based on the potential volume, opportunities and market rates,
  • Prepare responses to call for tenders
  • Evaluate, validate and trigger project investments, in agreement with the Management of the CMA CGM Agency and the Management of the Container Logistics & Intermodal Division at Headquarters
  • Write and distribute the specifications and calls for tenders for the execution of work on the targeted sites, the purchase of equipment, subcontracting, etc.
  • Prepare and ensure the implementation of an action plan for the implementation of projects, always in compliance with the Group's HSE standards
  • Ensure the development of project activities in line with the commercial ambitions of the business plan
  • PROFILE & SKILLS :

  • Master 2 in Commerce, Management or Logistics with knowledge of financial fundamentals
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in the field of maritime, transit and / or logistics, if possible, in Africa; experience in operating a timber yard and storing cotton will be a plus
  • Fluency in French and English as working languages both orally and in writing
  • Organized, dynamic, autonomous, with strong entrepreneurial skills, strategic vision and strong business skills
  • Strong adaptability, leadership, interpersonal skills, communication skills, strong team spirit
  • Ability to work in a challenging environment and under operational pressure
  • Negociation and conflict resolution skills
